Sue Porter

Sue graduated from the Law Extension Committee of the University of Sydney and Legal Profession Admission Board of NSW with a Diploma in Law in 2020 and completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with the College of Law. Sue was admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia in April 2021.

Sue brings to EMA Legal her diverse experience in industrial relations and employment law gained whilst working in a range of industries in State and Federal jurisdiction. Most recently she was Principal Industrial Relations Adviser within a State Government department, responsible for disputes and monetary claims. Previously working as an adviser, manager and consultant, Sue has provided advice to various stakeholders on a range of employment matters, including interpretation of industrial instruments and legislation. Sue is an experienced negotiator, being the lead employer representative of enterprise agreement negotiations during several of her prior employment positions.
